The Story
A Calgary Landmark
Since 1911.
The Story
Originally constructed as the Lewis Stationery Ltd. warehouse, this five-storey Edwardian commercial building anchored the Beltline for nearly a century before being converted to residential lofts in 1995.
Designated a Provincial Class A Heritage Building, Lewis Lofts preserves the original architectural bones that simply cannot be replicated in new construction: hand-laid brick, structural cast iron columns, and warehouse-scale open ceilings that give each unit a volume and soul no modern build can match.
